The ravishing town is the land of fairy tales and fables with the sight of spectacular orchards, lush vineyards snow-clad lofty peaks, cold desert and barren mountains. The snow-clad Himalayan peaks give Kinnaur alpine climate. The city is actually quite cold here as it experiences temperature below -5 degrees and heavy snowfall during winters. Everything apart from summer is dry, harsh and chilly. The town experiences no monsoon as it lies in the dry region of the Great Himalayas.
