The park is really concerned about the safety of the adventurers and thus it is conducted under the guidance of well-trained and expert mahouts.

You can enjoy this fun and frolic activity at the minimum cost of 500 INR for Indians and 1500 INR for foreigners. No prior booking is required and the safaris are conducted on a first come first serve basis. There are 2 slots for Elephant safari in Jim Corbett National Park i.e. 06:00 - 08:00 in the morning and 03:00 - 05:00 in the evening.

The forest officials of Jim Corbett national park offer yet another way to escape into the wilderness of the park. Canter safari is the only option to delve deep into the wilderness of Dhikala forest. The frolic activity can be enjoyed by visitors of almost all age groups; however, minors must be accompanied with an adult during the safaris. The charges applicable per person for canter safari is 1500 INR for Indians while 3000 INR for foreigners. The 16-18 seat canters can be enjoyed from 6:00 AM - 11:30 AM in the morning and from 12:00 PM - 5:30 PM in the Evening. It is advised that you make your booking in advance to avoid any chances of missing this exciting activity.
