About

It is the city of United Arab Emirates. Dubai seems to be a perfect mix of modernity and tradition within the glittering metropolis. Millions of people visit the Middle Eastern country each year in search of adventure, shopping, or culinary delights due to its luxurious lifestyle, iconic skyscrapers, and vibrant culture.

History

Dubai traces its beginnings from the early years of the 18th century as a small fishing village. Dubai was only a trading center until the oil discovery in the 1960s. Dubai has transformed itself into a world commercial and tourism hub in the later half of the 20th century. Within just a few decades, Dubai evolved into not just the world’s giant innovation in buildings and very big, ambitious projects, but also the hosting of skyscrapers such as the Burj Khalifa and man-made island, the Palm Jumeirah.

Geographical Landscape

Dubai is an excellent city located along the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. The city has wonderfully, very stunningly beautiful beaches with vast views over the Arabian Gulf. This is more or less a desert location, which gets immensely compensated by the aesthetically beautiful look that comes with lush green parks and man-made islands. This is extremely hot in summer months but tolerable during winter months, which does not make any season-less for the tourist seasons.
