Chitrakoot is known to as the “Hill of Many Wonders” and is located between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Its origins are in the Ramayana, where Lord Ram, Mata Sita, and Lord Lakshman wandered for eleven years. But it’s not just the mythological charm that is famous, it’s more than that to attract you in. The region’s tunnels, ghats, woodlands, and waterfalls offer a relaxing escape from the busyness of the city. The most valuable element? There is still a secret treasure out there, just waiting to be unearthed.

Must-Visit Places in Chitrakoot

1.Ram Ghat

Ram Ghat, the heartbeat of Chitrakoot. Watch priests perform the evening aarti while sitting by the Mandakini River. Prayers in the air, lighted diyas floating on water? Goosebumps all over. A little advice go for a boat cruise at dusk, it’s unbelievable and most – fascinating. According to locals, the river showers a sense of relaxation onto you. Here, the early mornings are peaceful and ideal for seeing the town’s gradual awakening.
