Binsar: the land of the leopard

Historically, it was the summer capital of the kings of the Chand dynasty. It has now transformed into a 45sqkm sanctuary protecting a number of flora and faunas. The Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is the proud home to more than 200 distinctive species of birds, leopards and other animals.

The winter stays from October till February. October also being the best month to visit Binsar. The winter temperature ranges between 00 to 24 degree C.

Summer:
