There are two airports via which you can reach Bhimtal—the Jolly Grant Airport and the Pantnagar Airport. The Dehradun airport receives flight from all the major cities of India but the Pantnagar airport has limited options. Please confirm your flight bookings beforehand to avoid any hassle.

The rail network is also convenient; the Kathgodam railway station is just 30kms away. Kathgodam is the entrance to Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Buses and taxis are readily available outside the railway station to take you to the right destination.

Bhimtal is connected to the rest of the India via road networks. Buses and private cabs will be ready for your disposal, in order to reach this town.
