After reaching Gaggal Airport, you can either use a taxi or a local bus to reach Baglamukhi Mata Temple. The ride will take around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Taxis are available outside the airport, and their charges begin from around ₹800 for a one-way trip. From Pathankot take a narrow-gauge train to Kangra Mandir railway station. The train ride from Pathankot to Kangra is for a distance of 4-5 hours and will be a general ticket of ₹50-100. From Kangra Mandir Station, travel by a local bus or hire a taxi to reach Baglamukhi Mata Temple, one-hour journey. The train fare from Delhi to Kangra including the Pathankot sector is from ₹350 in a 3AC or 2AC class ticket, an economical way of traveling to Baglamukhi Mata Temple.

Travel to Baglamukhi Mata Temple by Road

By road is also one of the most popular ways to reach Baglamukhi Mata Temple, due to the impeccable roads of Himachal Pradesh. The temple is situated in the Bankhandi village, 40 km away before reaching Kangra town, on the Ranital-Dehra Road. Driving from Delhi, the distance is about 470 km, traversing a time duration of 9-10 hours via the mode Delhi-Karnal-Ambala-Chandigarh-Una-Kangra. The trip offers a view of Punjab plains and the Himalayan foothills.
Baglamukhi Mata Temple is about 150 km from Chandigarh, a 3–4-hour drive through picturesque sceneries. Alternatively, you can travel by bus from Chandigarh to Dharamshala or Kangra via Dehra and ask the conductor to drop you near Baglamukhi Mata Temple, which is 16-17 km from Dehra bus stand. Alternatively, get off at Dehra and hire a taxi or local bus to the temple. Buses from Delhi’s ISBT (Anand Vihar or Kashmiri Gate) to Kangra or Dharamshala are available, with fares starting at ₹750. For a more comfortable journey, consider booking a private taxi for a direct trip to Baglamukhi Mata Temple.
