Goa tourism is set for a splash at the WTM London 2024, thrusting twin anchor themes of sustainability and cultural heritage. The state delegation headed by the Tourism Minister of Goa, Rohan Khaunte, would take visitors through diversified attractions of the state-from historic landmarks, vibrant festivals to eco-friendly experiences-that are way beyond the beaches. Goa Tourism is all geared to focus on engagement at the World Travel Market (WTM) London, from November 5-7, 2024, at ExCel London. Goa would present "Regenerative Tourism" and "Goa Beyond Beaches" that are all about sustainable tourism and great cultural diversity of Goa at this prestigious international trade show.
This experiential journey into the state's rich cultural and architectural heritage will be on the display in the Goa Tourism pavilion. Conventional Goan roof tiles, stained-glass artistry, and iconic pillars of the historical landmarks will also be carried to replicate some of the state's very well-known landmarks. Initiate the people with the celebrated landmarks such as Basilica of Bom Jesus, Tower of St. Augustine, and Shantadurga Kunkallikarin Temple.
